CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP - Playing with Writing

The Curious Creative Club delivers invigorating writing workshops to participants with the specific purpose of setting your creativity free,…it’s a restorative and inspiring few hours, just for you.

Are you curious to discover and nurture your creative side but just haven’t managed to find the time or are not sure what you want to try?

Well how about putting that curiosity in motion by joining our Creative Writing workshop–Playing with Writing.

Who is this for?

This workshop is for EVERYONE at any level of writing experience. It is not a lesson in English grammar or for anyone to necessarily pen a perfect master-piece; the secret lies in the process, how good that can feel, and creating something unique for yourself. However, if you like what you produce and discover that hidden creative talent, well that’s an added bonus!

This two-hour workshop will encourage the curiosity you already have and enable you to take that first step. We’ll do some none-scary, fun, writing exercises to enable you to discover your inner creativity and release your imagination onto the page.

You'll leave with a proud sense of achievement, your written work, a resource sheet with further sources of inspiration to continue your creative journey, a deeper understanding of how including creativity in your life can change it for the better and hopefully will have enjoyed meeting other curious creatives too.

The details: What you’ll get from this workshop:

• A warm up challenge and a further 4 main      writing tasks
• An understanding of how to create different types      of stories, using the techniques you’ll learn through the tasks
• An increase in confidence in your writing      skills
• The opportunity to share your work with      like-minded people (only if you want to) and learn from others’      styles of writing
• Further resources and tips to continue and      further inspire your writing journey
• A 15 minute break with hot drink and cake (please      advise us of any food allergies upon booking the workshop)
• A total of 2 focussed hours of pure creative      you-time!

COVID WORKSHOP INFORMATION:

• If you have any symptoms of COVID please do not attend the workshop.
• The workshop and Eco Hub services will have been throughly cleaned beforehand, surfaces and equipment will be cleaned throughout the event.
• There is a maximum of 4 people in the Eco Hub Workshop or 10 in our alternative workshop area (Lucy's Cabin).
• Hand sanister and antibactiral wipes will be available throught the workshop should you need.
• We offer a well ventilated work area.
• Masks or visors are required during demonstrations or moving around the workshop, but optional whole seated at your work area.

CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel the place at least 1 month before the date of the workshop you will receive a refund less £5 admin fee, this applies to ALL cancellations.

If less than 1 month of the date, we will only be able to offer a refund if the place can be filled.

If we cancel the workshop a FULL refund will be given or an alternative date will be offered.
